CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Sales tax holiday to return to North Carolina stores this weekend. The tax-free holiday will start Friday and continue until Sunday.
It exempts computers, school supplies and clothes from sales tax.
This will be the last chance to take advantage of the tax free holiday. It will be eliminated under the major tax reform Gov. Pat McCrory signed into law earlier this month.
